COMMISSION BUSINESS EXECUTIVES

customsThe job holder will be based in any of the following regions; Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret.

Reporting responsibility: General Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting on potential business opportunities in the assigned region;
  • Selling the company services (across the portfolio i.e. Customs clearing, Freight Forwarding, oil documentation, warehousing and Transport);
  • Timely development of winning quotation;
  • Timely response to commercial enquiries;

Key Result Areas:

  • Achievement of set revenue targets;
  • Customer relationship management;
  • Yield (profit) maximization;

Skills, knowledge and experience requirement:

  • Minimum Diploma in a business-related subject;
  • At least 3 years’ working experience in FMCG sales – logistics sales will be an added advantage;
  • Ability to prospect and reach out to decision makers of the potential clients;
  • Ability to procure best value packages, quotation development and monitor order execution;
  • Self-motivated, go getter, high impact and results oriented individual;

Specific Capabilities include:

  • Excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure for long and odd hours;
  • A self-motivated team player;
  • Self-starter and ability to work under minimum supervision.
